for Spring
In the darkness of your undoing
lies courier
a font tramped upon
typewriters in formation
purple pen spirals a song
your sanity
unwound
write smaller
think bigger
feel the life of every letter
as it tattoos line after line
you learned a word
“yagya”
small self
no self
speck
unravel clarity in mason jars of green juice
vegan chants
cow doodles
words that start with “g”
Go! giggle guffaw garden grows gross gobble goofy grounding gurgle gone
by the hair of its chinny
did you ever see a faerie
lit by the bright of an oracle?
twirling on your fingertip?
swinging legs on the pier of your ear?
listen, under the railroad’s din
it’s melting
something’s poking out
CREATIVE—GOOD JOB!!!! 🙂
Thank you so much for your comment and for reading! As a fellow poet, you know what it’s like when you wake up and the muse just sits on your head! 🙂
There are just so many things I love about this poem. I will share it with my children.
Thank you! I feel so much love for this one too. I’m glad you had that experience! And, that it made enough sense…
