monarch tattoo dances up her calf
lick Mario’s Italian Lemonade
cantaloupe her choice
twist your rubber neck down Taylor
for a marble doughnut glazed with 50 years
of Scafuri fingertips
pop down Loomis
the 157 keens your stop
lean forty-five degrees into Davanti’s Pizza della Terra
Taleggio tangling your tongue
leeks taunting taste buds
shrooms singing ballads
if I could marry you in Vegas
there’d be nothing left but crumbs

I’m headed right over! Great post, sound, pictures and all. I completed “The Art of Non-Conformity” Terrific read, thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks Dan! We’ll probably see you there today and tomorrow! So excited you read Chris’ book. His new one “The Happiness of Pursuit” is out in September!
Wish we were closer but it is TEMPTING!
I wish you and Betty were closer too! J & I probably ate your share of Italian goodies so you were fairly represented!
You’re calling me to Chicago! So wish I could have been there.
Me too! I went 3 out of 4 days! You would have loved it! It’s small enough to enjoy in bits and pieces.
So fun!
Thanks JoDee! We’ll have to recreate it in a few weeks. 😉 Thinking of all of you. xo
